British Columbia Taxes

B.C. has the country's most finely sliced income tax, with seven brackets, and some of its most specific property taxes, from the speculation and vacancy tax to the property transfer tax at closing. For most working people the income tax is moderate; for high earners and property buyers it isn't. The calculator above runs your income; the rest of the page explains what B.C. adds.
